synchronisation failed because of a network problem

hi all

v1.324.76 on android 6.0.1 (z3 compact).

Getting error when app is started - "synchronisation failed because of a network problem".

Network is fine because twitter and emails work.

Successfully connected to Google Fit - I can see 7 minute workout history.

Tried disconnected and reconnecting.

Think error started happening after I entered my weight directly into google fit, rather than through 7 minute app.

Exercise history is recorded in google fit, just not weight updates.
